Nooriabad Power Plant, Sindh Karachi
MAS Group successfully carried out significant construction and infrastructure works at the Noriabad Power Plant, Karachi, a major energy facility located on the Karachi–Hyderabad Highway that supplies electricity to Karachi’s power grid. The plant consists of two 50-MW units with a combined generation capacity of approximately 100 MW, contributing to the reduction of electricity shortages in the region. As part of this project, MAS Group was responsible for executing specialized civil and structural works, including the development of a large-capacity water reservoir with an approximate storage capacity of 8 lakh gallons, designed to support the operational requirements of the power plant.

The Noriabad Power Plant, located near Nooriabad on the Karachi–Hyderabad Highway in Sindh, Pakistan, is a significant energy infrastructure project developed to support the growing electricity demand of Karachi and surrounding industrial zones. Situated approximately 85–90 kilometers from Karachi, the plant was established as part of the Government of Sindh’s initiative to reduce electricity shortages and strengthen the province’s power generation capacity. Overall, the Noriabad Power Plant represents a key step toward strengthening Pakistan’s energy infrastructure. By providing additional electricity to Karachi—one of the country’s largest economic centers—the project supports industrial productivity, reduces load-shedding, and contributes to sustainable economic growth in the region.
